Fotolia is taking steps to improve revenues for every hardworking contributor, and align our offers with the marketplace. As a part of this, print runs for our Standard License will be updated to 500,000.
This means all customers requiring unlimited print runs for projects will require an Extended License - which will mean higher royalties. The unlimited print run clause in our Standard Licenses was originally inserted to match the needs of consumers, but a changing market means we are now updating this offer.
We have decided to include Extended Licenses for all images available on the Fotolia website, and to remove the Extended License opt-out option from our indexing tools. Images not previously offered in the Extended License will now be proposed at 20 Credits - but this price can be modified by you (depending on your rank).
Look out for the new changes being rolled out over the next 2 weeks.
These higher sales of Extended Licenses will enable higher rewards for all of you – our amazing image creators!
